Hi, my name is Kieran O Malley, I’m from a beautiful part of Mayo called Bonniconlon, located in the foothills of the Ox mountains, close to Ballina. I moved to Galway in 2000 when I came here to study marketing in GMIT and spent seven incredibly happy years in the place, during which time I had the honour of being Student Union President amongst other roles. I currently work as part of the digital marketing team for the Connacht Hospitality team, which includes An Pucan, 1520, Hyde Bar, The Connacht Hotel, The Forster Court Hotel, the Residence Hotel and Active 24 Fitness. Outside work I enjoy soccer and blogging, my blog The Galway Player has helped to develop a greater understanding and appreciation of this amazing city and its people. The business community of Galway have been unbelievably supportive of my blog and I endeavour to return the favour whenever possible through my social media channels.
